Planning your Wedding at this Attractive Stately Home, then Let us Capture the Story of Your Day!
When Kane and Jennifer first got in touch with us about their wedding, we were so thrilled. They lived on the Isle of Man, so searched for photographers local to Arley Hall who knew the location and best places to photograph. Kane & Jennifer loved our portfolio and wanted to meet while they were in Cheshire to secure the date with us. They were planning a sophisticated, black-tie traditional wedding but also wanted to keep it fun and relaxed. Kane and Jennifer were so much fun, and we couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

In the Morning
We joined Kane and his groomsmen at a local hotel for a few morning prep shots, where the boys had stayed the night before and were getting ready. Kane and all the Groomsmen wore black-tie and looked so smart. After a short time, we joined Jennifer, who was also getting ready at the same hotel for her bridal preparations. Jennifer looked so glamorous wearing a stunning fitted wedding gown frosted with beads and a cathedral length veil that extended beyond her gown – simply gorgeous.
The Ceremony
The wedding took place at St Matthew’s Church, situated in the small village of Stretton. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. It was such a lovely ceremony with a full choir. Afterwards, everyone mingled for a short while before the Bride and Groom were whisked away in the wedding cars to make their way to the venue.
And onto the Reception
The wedding reception took place at Arley Hall and Gardens, which is a jewel in the Cheshire Countryside – so stunning.
It was a beautiful sunny autumnal day, which was what the couple hoped it would be. While the guests were still making their way to the venue, we took the opportunity to spend some time with Kane and Jennifer around the stunning grounds to capture their bride and groom portraits. At times it became a little breezy, which played and teased Jennifer’s veil; however, Kane was on hand to help. One of our favourite photos is where Kane is trying to tame the veil, and Jennifer is laughing so much – such a natural fun moment.
During the reception, they took time to mingle and relax with their guests on the lawn outside the main hall before being called to the impressive Gallery for their wedding breakfast meal. Afterwards, some fantastic speeches, the cake cut and just time for a couple more bride and groom portraits within the stunning hall itself as guests made their way over to Olympia for the evening reception. Kane and Jennifer had a live band for the evening reception, which kept everyone entertained.
